  • What are brief sets?

    Brief sets are mini courses made up of multiple practice briefs within a single theme or discipline. These are broken up into the following sections: overview, creative direction, deliverables & timescales, our approach to the brief and a student showcase.

  • How will I stay motivated to complete the brief sets?

    We'll send you motivational progress reminders and updates when you complete stages so you'll know exactly how far to go!

  • What happens when I complete a brief set?

    When you complete a brief set, your dashboard (where you can see all of your progress) will update to show that you are 100% of the way through. You can go back and access any section of each brief at any time.

  • Can I use the briefs with my students?

    To use Briefbox with your students you’ll need an educators license available here. An educators plan includes free full access PRO accounts for your students and is an affordable way to add practical learning material to your course or syllabus.

  • Can I use work created on Briefbox in my portfolio?

    Absolutely! Running a design agency ourselves, we are always impressed by applicants who create conceptual work and use it in their portfolio.

  • How do I submit to briefs?

    We encourage our students to submit your work created to submissions@briefbox.me where we will feature and showcase students work over at the student showcase page, as well as on our social media channels.

  • How are the briefs written?

    Our team run a live design agency, alongside Briefbox, and the briefs we write are inspired by real client projects that we receive on a monthly basis. This offers a new and unique way of real style learning for aspiring designers.

  • Can I get feedback on my progress?

    We offer case study reviews and portfolio reviews additionally to any single course purchase or subscription. You can find out more over here. You can also share your work in your student project boards for peer-to-peer discussion.

Our courses

  • Do you offer certification for completing a course?

    Yes we do. You can send over your finished designs once complete, and after internal review by our design team we’ll send over an official certificate stating your achievements. Send any completed learning materials to submissions@briefbox.me

  • Are practical projects included in your courses?

    Our courses have practical learning at the forefront, and so every course features realistic project briefs that the course author will guide you through before you get started on the artwork.

  • How long does it take to complete a course

    Our courses will vary in length and this will be stated clearly on the course overview landing page. If you are unsure about any specific course details feel free to contact us at support@briefbox.me

Payment

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept credit, debit or ATM cards (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay.

  • Do you offer refunds on purchases?

    If you request to cancel your subscription within 7 days of purchase, we will provide you with a full refund.

  • Do you offer student discounts?

    Yep, we offer current students all over the world a 20% discount on our normal priced individual courses. All we need is proof – please email support@briefbox.me with a photo of your valid student ID (valid date should be visible), along with the following information: your full name, email address, and which product you want to enrol to. We'll then contact you with a one-time use discount code that you can use against that product. **Please note: student discounts do not apply to already discounted courses or products, like bundles or early bird launch offers. The highest single discount will apply.**

  • How can I see my billing history?

    You can see a full breakdown of your billing history on your account page. You can also print and download receipts from this page

  • How do I cancel my paid subscription?

    If you want to cancel your subscription, you can do this from the Billing page. You can access this page by clicking on your name (or the account icon) at the top right of the screen and selecting 'My Account' from the drop down menu. **If your subscription was created before 15 May 2020, you will need to email us at support@briefbox.me to cancel your paid subscription.**

  • How do I update my payment card if it is due to expire or is lost or stolen?

    You can do this from the Billing page which is accessed by clicking on your name (or the account icon) at the top right of the screen and selecting 'My Account' from the drop down menu. **If your subscription was created before 15 May 2020, you will need to email us at support@briefbox.me to cancel your paid subscription.**

Account info

  • How do I edit my personal details?

    You are able to edit your email address, first name, and last name from the 'My Profile' page. This page is accessed by clicking on your name (or the account icon) displayed at the top right of the screen and clicking 'My Account' from the drop down menu.

  • How do I change my email preferences?

    You are able to edit your email preferences from the 'Notifications' tab. This page is accessed by clicking on your name (or the account icon) displayed at the top right of the screen and clicking 'My Account' from the drop down menu.

  • How do I keep track of my progress?

    You can view your Brief and Course progress from the 'My 'Dashboard page'. You can access this page by clicking on your name at the top right of the screen and selecting 'My Dashboard' from the drop down menu.

  • How do I delete my account? I want all my personal data to be erased.

    If you would like to have your account and details deleted, please email support@briefbox.me **Please note that this action is irreversible and will delete your membership account, personal details and all your learning progress**
